Luca E-go® LX is one of our most popular electric bikes in the range and designed specifically for the Danish market. For next season, the model has been updated with a new elegant frame and it has been upgraded with our new basket.
The new large and spacious aluminum basket has a practical fixed bottom and a functional handlebar lock that locks the handlebars - so that the front wheel does not tip over and overturn the bike when there is weight in the basket. The model has 7 internal Shimano Nexus gears, a foot brake and a roller brake in front. And you get plenty of comfort with the suspended seat post, which reduces shock to the lower back and back. The lights are permanently mounted and powered by the electric bike's battery, so you don't have to think about changing batteries. The rear light has our BRAKE-light integrated. When the bike's speed is slowed, the light lights up brightly, and your fellow road users have a harder time noticing that you are braking. The electric bike also has our V-light feature integrated into the rear light, the extra safety you get with the V-light function is very valuable in the twilight on busy bike paths. Luca E-go® LX is built with the BOSCH electric system . A system that is quiet, comfortable to ride and provides good assistance when you need it. The motor used on this particular bike is the BOSCH Active Line Plus. The motor is torque-based, meaning you get assistance based on how much force you put in. And with the motor located in the crank, you get a stable and comfortable riding experience. The system's display, a Purion 200, is easy to operate and comes with 5 riding programs, so you can easily adapt the assistance to the surroundings.
Please note that the model is produced in different frame sizes. Your leg length determines which size bike you need. Use our guide to find the right frame size or ask your Batavus dealer for advice.
