If you submit a test ride request via our website, we will share your name, telephone number, email address and your specific bicycle preference for the test ride with the dealer you selected in order to process your request, carry out the test ride and inform you about it. We store your data within the European Economic Area (EEA) or in countries that have received an adequacy decision from the European Commission.

If we share your data with companies located (i) outside the EEA or (ii) in countries for which no adequacy decision has been granted, we enter into the European Commission–approved standard contractual clauses with the receiving party and ensure that additional safeguards are applied where necessary.

We process your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which we collected it, unless a longer period is required to:

  • comply with a statutory retention period or another applicable legal obligation;

  • process your personal data in connection with legal proceedings.

To ensure that your personal data is deleted within a reasonable period, we work with retention periods for the various countries.

How do we secure customer data?

We attach great importance to protecting your personal data. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is properly secured against unauthorized or unlawful use, access, disclosure, or accidental or unlawful destruction or loss.

We take measures to limit access to your personal data to those persons who need access due to one of the purposes mentioned in this privacy statement. In addition, through contracts we ensure that third parties who process your personal data protect this data just as carefully as we do, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and this privacy statement.
